A New Knitting Pattern

Hi all.  I hope this new week is starting out great for you.  Sorry it took me so long to get this pattern published, but it’s ready for your knitting pleasure now!

This pattern is the first for Patsy and Ann Estelle.  It is a light weight cropped cardigan knit with lace yarn.  I used Knit Picks Aloft, a mohair/silk blend.  The stitches are tiny, but the fuzziness of the yarn hides stitch imperfections.  I actually enjoy knitting with lace yarn over heavier yarn.  It creates less hand strain because it is so light weight, but yes, it is harder to see.

You can see more photos featuring this cardigan in “Blossoms for my Love-ly”.  You can view information and purchase the pattern here.

Thanks for stopping by tonight.  Wishing you all a great week! ❤

So wonderful of you to make these patterns available for everyone. Each is so perfect. This should probably also fit the Effner Boneka 10.5 dolly too.
    Congrats on another fabulous accomplishment.
After I pick up some baby shampoo, I’m going to attempt to do a hair wash on Felicity, an American Girl doll. Never tried this prior. Not much of a hair person. We’ll see.
Think rain is over for awhile. Everything is a bog around here and there are so many twigs/leaves to rake. Maybe in a few days when it dries out. Kind of a mess right now.

Hi Joy and thank you. Yes, I saw on the news that the rain finally had stopped in CA. Now for some sun to dry things out. I used to pick up Barbies at garage sales (long ago). I’d wash their hair with dish soap and then put some cream conditioner in it, and NOT was it out. The frizzes would be gone. I am not sure how this pattern would fit the 10″ Boneka dolls (wish I had one!). I include Patsy/Ann measurements on the pattern though for those that do. I hope you have sun all day long today!!! ❤
