A Couple of Work-in-Progress Photos

Hi there!  I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but not much creating going on with me lately.  Life has pulled me away from my studio for a bit as I’ve been needed elsewhere.  I’ve been getting a little knitting and embroidering done in the last couple of weeks, but don’t have anything completed to show you, sorry.  Here’s a  photo of a sweater dress for the Little Darlings that I managed to get made.  I still have the other pieces of this ensemble to work on, but you can get an idea anyway.  I hope to have it all finished next week.

Oh, I forgot to show you this little dress I made for my Fairyland Pukipuki, Sugar, a couple of weeks ago.  It is knit with a lace weight tonal alpaca/silk, very soft.  This too, will probably be for sale sometime next week.

Bye for now!  Hope you are enjoying this week.

Did notice your absence. Was hoping you weren’t ill. Wishing you the best with your responsibilities.
I’ve been oncall all week for jury duty. Still have a couple of days to go. Trying to figure out what I can bring along to entertain myself if called, during the long waiting time. I don’t think my pins/scissors would make it through security so that leaves magazines or a book I guess. 😦
Your little pink outfits are perfect for upcoming Valentine’s Day.
Looking forward to when you can post again. And wishing you and your family well.

      Hi Joy,
Thank you for the well wishes for my family. Knitting and crocheting would be perfect for jury duty. I always need to bring along something too, not a fan of sitting without anything to do. Good luck, hope you are not called and can get back to sewing.

Still on call for jury duty until tomorrow. However, I did find that they do not allow: knitting needles, scissors, nail files, tweezers, or anything security deems unacceptable. They do have Wifi though.:)

Cindy, I did miss your posts! You always use such beautiful colors and yarns. I look forward to seeing your posts. I’m in the Upper Peninsula of MI and it is ALL white here now. Your colors are refreshing!

      Hi Pennie,
So sorry that you’ve had the flu, I hope you are feeling better. Ten days is a long time to be sick. You haven’t missed much from me… I’ve not had much time for posting and creating. Thank you for the compliment on Sugar’s new dress. Hope we can all get back to normal soon.

I began to find the time long, thank you to reassure us!
We don’t always have time to spend with our dolls, but it’s great you’re back with wonderful creations! Sugar is adorable with her new dress!
    Have a good day!

Dear Cindy: Your knitting and embroidering of dolls sweaters is excellent and beautiful. Would you ever consider selling any sweater patterns to the public? I enjoy seeing your posts. You are one of a kind. Thank you.

      Hi Patricia,
Thank you so very much! I appreciate your compliments! Right now I don’t have the time to write out my patterns. At the moment, they are scribbles in my notebooks and would most likely confuse even the most advanced knitter. Sometimes they even confuse me… Possibly sometime in the future I may write out my patterns and sell them.

    HI Cindy,
I HAD noticed you were missing in action and even checked my phone to make sure your emails weren’t going to the trash. I’m glad you let us know you are just preoccupied with other things. I hope they aren’t the serious kind… and I hope you find time to do your “crafting” soon as I know you LOVE it. I’m going with my mom to see my brother on Saturday morning and won’t be back till Monday evening, so I’m writing some posts ahead of time. But I’m just wanting to organize things… I did my embroidery floss, my threads, and now I’m doing my doll shoes and doll wigs…
I enjoyed looking at your glass things too… I love going antique shopping… It’s always a fun thing we do together…

I hope you’ll be back soon to get Gina’s new pink dress all finished… She looks beautiful in that color and I LOVE the flowers you have embroidered around the neck of her dress.
    Take care Cindy,
Blessings to you and your family,
    ~ Jeanne

      Hi Jeanne,
Thanks for caring. Life can be trying at times, but everyone goes through these hard times and it helps having lots of people around who care.
I’ve missed my dolls and creating very much, can’t wait to get back to it.
Have a nice visit with your brother.
